Tingginya aktivitas dan pemanfaatan pada lokasi tersebut, dikhawatirkan dapat mengganggu ekosistem padang lamun dan epifit yang menempel pada lamun. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu (1) Mengetahui jenis dan kerapatan epifit pada lamun. (2) Mengetahui indeks keanekaragaman, keseragaman dan dominansi epifit pada lamun. (3) Mengetahui perbedaan kerapatan epifit antar jenis lamun. (4) Menganalisis hubungan antara parameter fisika dan kimia perairan terhadap kerapatan epifit pada lamun. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus - Oktober 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling dengan menggunakan line transect yang diletakkan sepanjang 100 meter tegak lurus garis pantai sebanyak 3 transek. Metode pengambilan sampel epifit dilakukan dengan metode sapuan, yaitu daun lamun yang telah dipotong kurang lebih 5 x 2 cm 2 dikerik kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam botol yang berisi aquades dan Lugol 1%. Jenis epifit yang ditemukan pada lamun di Pantai Blebak terdiri dari 7 kelas dan 21 genera dengan kerapatan 52929 – 231200 sel/cm 2 dan paling banyak ditemukan pada kelas Bacillariophyceae. Indeks keanekaragaman termasuk dalam kategori rendah, indeks keseragaman termasuk dalam kategori sedang, indeks dominansi termasuk dalam kategori sedang yang artinya tidak ada individu yang mendominasi. Analisis perbedaan kerapatan epifit menggunakan Uji Kruskal-Wallis, yaitu kerapatan epifit antar jenis lamun menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan. Parameter yang berkorelasi positif dan kuat terhadap kerapatan epifit yaitu salinitas. Blebak Beach is one of the beaches in Jepara Regency which has a varied distribution of seagrass characteristics, namely Thalassia hemprichii, Enhalus acoroides, Cymodocea rotundata and Syringodium isoetifolium. It is feared that the high activity and use of this location could disrupt the seagrass ecosystem and the epiphytes attached to the seagrass. The objectives of this research are (1) To determine the type and density of epiphytes in seagrass. (2) Knowing the index of diversity, uniformity and dominance of epiphytes in seagrass. (3) Knowing the differences in epiphyte density between seagrass types. (4) Analyzing the relationship between physical and chemical parameters of waters on the density of epiphytes in seagrass. The research was conducted in August - October 2023. The method used was a purposive sampling method using line transects placed along 100 meters perpendicular to the coastline with 3 transects. The epiphyte sampling method was carried out using a sweeping method, namely seagrass leaves that had been cut to approximately 5 x 2 cm2 were scraped and then put into a bottle containing distilled water and 1% Lugol. The types of epiphytes found in seagrass at Blebak Beach consist of 7 classes and 21 genera with a density of 52929 – 231200 cells/cm2 and are mostly found in the Bacillariophyceae class. The diversity index is included in the low category, the uniformity index is included in the medium category, the dominance index is included in the medium category, which means there is no dominating individual. Analysis of differences in epiphyte density using the Kruskal-Wallis test, namely the density of epiphytes between seagrass types showed no differences. The parameter that has a positive and strong correlation with epiphyte density is salinity. }, issn = {2407-7690}, pages = {429--441} doi = {10.14710/jmr.v14i3.43743}, url = {https://ejournal3.undip.ac.id/index.php/jmr/article/view/43743} }
