Clerodendrum inerme is a type of mangrove that is still rarely studied. C. inerme was collected from Teluk Awur Jepara. Ethyl acetate solvent was used to extract the secondary metabolites. The paper disc diffusion method was utilized in the antibacterial test against several pathogenic bacteria, such as Bacillus cereus, B. subtilis, and Escherichia coli. Phytochemical test and Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) were performed to characterize the crude extract of C. inerme bark.
