LAKI-LAKI VS PEREMPUAN, SINGLE VS PUNYA PASANGAN: PERBANDINGAN QUARTER LIFE CRISIS PADA EMERGING ADULT

Abstract
Quarter life crisis merupakan krisis yang dapat dirasakan oleh emerging adult. Quarter life crisis dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, misalnya jenis kelamin dan hubungan romantis. Meskipun begitu, penelitian yang meneliti konteks jenis kelamin dan hubungan romantis terkait quarter life crisis masih jarang dilakukan dan temuan yang didapatkan beragam. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik meneliti topik tersebut. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu perempuan memiliki tingkat quarter life crisis yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan laki-laki dan emerging adult yang tidak sedang menjalani hubungan romantis memiliki tingkat quarter life crisis yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan emerging adult yang sedang menjalani hubungan romantis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif berupa analisis komparatif menggunakan uji analisis Mann-Whitney U test. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kedua hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Temuan penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasi kepada emerging adult mengenai keterkaitan antara jenis kelamin dan hubungan romantis dengan quarter life crisis, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan untuk menyusun program intervensi untuk mengatasi quarter life crisis.
