Subjek penelitian 139 karyawan bagian produksi PT. “X”. Karakteristik sampel penelitian adalah belum memiliki smartphone dan mendapatkan gaji antara Rp 1.600.000,00 – Rp 1.900.000,00. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Pengetahuan Produk (24 aitem, α = 0,915) dan Skala Intensi Membeli (24 aitem, α = 0,883). Analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pengetahuan produk dengan intensi membeli (rxy = 0,771 dengan p< 0,001), yang berarti bahwa semakin tinggi pengetahuan produk maka semakin tinggi intensi membeli smartphone, sebaliknya apabila semakin rendah pengetahuan produk maka semakin rendah intensi membeli smartphone. Pengetahuan produk memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 59,5% terhadap intensi membeli.
