PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SARI JERUK NIPIS (Citrus aurantifolia) DALAM RANSUM TERHADAP KECERNAAN PROTEIN KASAR DAN RETENSI NITROGEN PADA ITIK MAGELANG JANTAN

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pengaruh penambahan sari jeruk nipis dalam ransum itik Magelang jantan pada level yang berbeda terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dan retensi nitrogen. Materi yang digunakan adalah 100 ekor itik magelang umur 5 minggu dengan bobot badan rata-rata 460 ± 4,51 g. Bahan penyusun ransum yang digunakan terdiri dari jagung, bekatul, nasi aking, tepung ikan, bungkil kedelai dan premix. Ransum penelitian disusun dengan kandungan protein 18,25 % dan energi metabolis 2902 kkal/kg. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan dan setiap unit percobaan terdiri 5 ekor itik. Perlakuan penelitian yaitu T0 (ransum tanpa penambahan sari jeruk nipis), T1 (ransum + 1,5 ml sari jeruk nipis), T2 (ransum + 3 ml sari jeruk nipis) dan T3 (ransum + 4,5 ml sari jeruk nipis). Parameter yang diukur adalah konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan, kecernaan protein dan retensi nitrogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan penambahan sari jeruk nipis tidak berbeda nyata (non signifikan) terhadap konsumsi ransum, kecernaan protein, retensi nitrogen dan pertambahan bobot badan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan sari jeruk level 1,5 ml, 3 ml, dan 4,5 ml dalam ransum itik Magelang jantan tidak meningkatkan konsumsi ransum, kecernaan protein, retensi nitrogen dan pertambahan bobot badan.

ABSTRACT

The aim of the research is to assess the effect of lime (Citrus aurantifolia) addition in the diet on protein digestibility and nitrogen retention in male Magelang ducks. The material used is 100 ducks Magelang age of 5 weeks with an average body weight of 460 ± 4.51 g. Constituent materials used ration consisting of corn, bran, parched rice, fish meal, soybean meal and premix. Ration of research compiled by the protein content of 18.25% and metabolic energy 2902 kcal / kg. The research design used was completely randomized design with four for the treatment and five replications. Treatment research is T0 (ration without the addition of lime), T1 (ration + 1.5 ml of lime), T2 (ration + 3 ml of lime) and T3 (4.5 ml + ration of lime). Parameters measured were ration consumption, body weight gain, protein digestibility and nitrogen retention. The results showed the addition of lime treatments non significant to ration consumption, protein digestibility, nitrogen retention and body weight gain. Based on the research results can be concluded that the addition of 1.5 ml of lime level, 3 ml, and 4.5 ml in Magelang male duck ration did not increase the ration intake, protein digestibility, nitrogen retention and body weight gain.
