PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN SUPLEMEN TEMULAWAK DAN Zn-PROTEINAT TERHADAP KADAR HEMOGLOBIN, HEMATOKRIT DAN AKTIVITAS ENZIM FOSFATASE ALKALIS PADA SAPI PERAH PENDERITA MASTITIS SUBKLINIS

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The research aimed to examine the influence of the effect of curcuma supplementation and Zn-proteinat on level of hemoglobin, hematocrit and alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity in subclinical mastitis of dairy cows. The material used 16 dairy cows (PFH) in with subclinical mastitis. The diet consist of elephants grass, field grass, tofu waste and concentrate. The experiment used were Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Four treatments were T0=Feed control without the addition of Curcuma xanthoriza and Zn proteinate, T1= Feed+2% Curcuma xanthorhiza suplement, T2=Feed+ 40 ppm Zn proteinate suplement, T3=Feed+2% Curcuma xanthorhiza suplement+40 ppm Zn proteinate suplement. Parameters measured were the level of hemoglobin, hematocrit and alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity. The results showed that the treatment were not significant effect (P> 0,05). The average on the level of hemoglobin before treatment T0, T1, T2, and T3 7,83; 9,13; 7,68 and 7,85g/dl , and after treatment and T0, T1, T2 and T3 9,30; 9,20; 8,65 and 9,33. The average on the level of hematocrit before treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 27,50; 27,25; 26,25; 25,75%, and after treatment T0, T1, T2, T3 27,25; 27,25; 26,25 and 25,75%. The average on the alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity before treatment T0, T1, T2 and T3 95,75; 90,25; 91,50; 75,50 U/I, and after treatment T0, T1, T2, T3 128,10; 128,70; 83,10 and 108,90 U/I. This althought they were not significant deffernt this research showed third the additional curcuma and zn proteinat suplement increased the level of hemoglobin and alkaline phosphatase enzyme activity, but did not effect the level of hematocrit.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan suplemen temulawak da Zn-proteinat dalam ransum terhadap kadar hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis pada Sapi perah Peranakan Friesian Holstein (PFH) penderita mastitis subklinis. Materi yang digunakan adalah 16 ekor sapi perah Peranakan Friesian Holstein penderita mastitis subklinis. Ransum yang digunakan dari rumput gajah, rumput lapang, ampas tahu dan konsentrat. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK), dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan penelitian yaitu T0 (ransum kontrol), T1 (ransum + 2% suplemen temulawak), T2 (ransum + 40 ppm Zn-proteinat) dan T3 (ransum + 2% suplemen curcuma temulawak + 40 ppm Zn-proteinat). Parameter yang diukur adalah terhadap kadar hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap terhadap kadar hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis. Rata-rata kadar hemoglobin sebelum perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 7,83; 9,13; 7,68 dan 7,85 g/dl, dan setelah perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 9,30; 9,20; 8,65; 9,33; rata-rata kadar hematokrit sebelum perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 27,50; 27,25; 26,25 dan 25,75 %, dan setelah perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 27,25; 27,25; 26,25 dan 25,75 %, dan rata-rata kadar aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis sebelum perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 95,75; 90,25; 91,50 dan 75,50 U/I, setelah perlakuan T0, T1, T2 dan T3 adalah 128,10; 128,70; 83,10 dan 108,90 U/I. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan suplemen temulawak da Zn proteinat dalam ransum mempengaruhi terhadap kadar hemoglobin dan aktivitas enzim fosfatase alkalis. Namun, tidak mempengaruhi kadar hematokrit.
