KADAR KOLESTEROL, HDL DAN LDL DARAH AKIBAT KOMBINASI LAMA PENCAHAYAAN DAN PEMBERIAN PORSI PAKAN BERBEDA PADA AYAM BROILER

Abstract


ABSTRACT

The aim of research was to know the effect of lighting periode and different feed serving to blood cholesterol, LDL and HDL level on broiler. The material was used is 320 day old chicks (DOC) CP 707, commercial feed (protein 23%, fat 2.5%, crude fiber 4%, calcium 1%, phosphor 0.9%, energy 3000 kcal). The statistic analysis that used in this research is RAL split plot 3 x 2 with five replicates, the main factor is the lighting period and the second factor is the different food serving. The treatment for lighting period are T1 with intermittent lighting 2 hour light on: 2 hour off, T2 was 4 hours lighting period at night, and T3 was 6 hours lighting period at night. The treatment for feed serving are R1 as 40% during the day and 60% during the night, R2 was 30% during the day and 70% during the night. The result of variance analysis, there was effect of lighting period to High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) (P<0,05). Blood cholesterol level of T1R1, T1R2, T2R1, T2R2, T3R1 and T3R2 was 155,56 mg/dl; 151,11 mg/dl; 153,33 mg/dl; 166,67 mg/dl; 146,66 mg/dl and 137,78 mg/dl. HDL level of T1R1, T1R2, T2R1, T2R2, T3R1 and T3R2 was 45,87 mg/dl; 40,98 mg/dl; 44,74 mg/dl; 47,38 mg/dl; 36,47 mg/dl dan 37,98 mg/dl. Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) level of T1R1, T1R2, T2R1, T2R2, T3R1 and T3R2 was 109,69 mg/dl; 110,13 mg/dl; 108,59 mg/dl; 119,29 mg/dl; 110,19 mg/dl dan 99,80 mg/dl. Conclusion of this research explain there are no interaction effect between lighting period and food serving to cholesterol levels, HDL and LDL levels. There was an effect of lighting period to HDL level with highest level 46,06 mg/dl with 4 hours lighting period.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak lama pencahayaan pada malam hari dan pemberian porsi pakan berbeda terhadap kadar kolesterol, LDL dan HDL darah ayam broiler. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Desember 2011- 10 Januari 2012 di Laboratorium Ternak Unggas Fakultas Peternakan dan Pertanian Universitas Diponegoro Semarang. Materi yang dipergunakan adalah 320 ekor ayam broiler day old chicks (DOC) CP 707, pakan (mengandung protein 23%; lemak 2,5%; serat kasar 4%; kalsium 1%; Phospor 0,9%; energi 3.000 Kkal). Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola split plot 3 x 2 dengan 5 ulangan , faktor utama adalah lama pencahayaan (T1, T2, 3) dan faktor kedua adalah porsi pakan berbeda (R1, R2). T1 adalah intermiten 2T : 2G di malam hari, T2 4 Jam Pencahayaan di malam hari, dan T3 Pencahayaan 6 jam dimalam hari. R1 adalah 40% siang dan 60% malam, R2 porsi pakan 30% siang dan 70% malam hari. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pencahayaan berpengaruh terhadap kadar High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) darah ayam broiler (P<0,05). Kadar kolesterol darah T1R1, T1R2, T2R1, T2R2, T3R1 dan T3R2 berturut-turut adalah 155,56 mg/dl; 151,11 mg/dl; 153,33 mg/dl; 166,67 mg/dl; 146,66 mg/dl dan 137,78 mg/dl. Kadar HDL pada T1R1, T1R2, T2R1, T2R2, T3R1 dan T3R2 berturut-turut adalah 45,87 mg/dl; 40,98 mg/dl; 44,74 mg/dl; 47,38 mg/dl; 36,47 mg/dl dan 37,98 mg/dl. Kadar Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) darah pada T1R1, T1R2, T2R1, T2R2, T3R1 dan T3R2 berturut-turut adalah 109,69 mg/dl; 110,13 mg/dl; 108,59 mg/dl; 119,29 mg/dl; 110,19 mg/dl dan 99,80 mg/dl. Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi lama pencahayaan pada dan pemberian porsi pakan berbeda terhadap kadar kolesterol, HDL dan LDL. Pencahayaan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar HDL darah ayam broiler dengan nilai tertinggi 46,06 mg/dl dengan pencahayaan 4 jam pada malam hari.
